An area with mossy boulders on top of a hill.
Details
Visit | The boulders are quite mossy but that does not reduce the amount of fun. Due to the shade, it is a very nice area to boulder for a couple of hours. |
Level | 2A – 7A |
Access | Parking can be a bit tricky, but once parked it takes approximately 5 minutes to walk to the area. When accessing from the field it is a little bit of rough terrain, when accessing from the bridge there is a walking path from which you have to traverse into the forest which makes it easier. |
Area | The boulders are quite mossy but climbable. |
Weather | The boulders are in a forest on top of the hill so you will mostly encounter shade. Nearing the end of the day the sun might hit your eyes when topping boulders. |

Approach
The parking for this area is a bit tricky; you can either park your car close to the bridge on the walking path (our preference) or you can park on the field if it is not in use.
Approach from the bridge
Parking here can be a bit trickier but it will be easier to reach the boulder site.
Park the car on the walking path next to the bridge, it is recommended to park in reverse to be able to enter the road safely after bouldering.

Follow the walking path up the hill and go around the corner.

After a short walk find an entry into the forest on your right.

Walk to the top of the hill where you will find the boulders.

Approach from the field
Parking here is a bit easier but it is on a private field and more tricky to reach the boulder site.
A little bit further from the bridge towards the boulder site there is an entry onto a field. You can park on this field if it is not in use.

Climb over the barbed wire and walk up the hill, the forest has recently been cut down so it is easier to reach the top. walk around the top and you will find the boulder site.
