This is an area with 1 big boulder in the forest and lots of small boulders in the tall forest. The small boulders are mostly smaller than the average human being and are located on a slight slope.
Details
Visit | Walking to the boulders can take a little bit of time, the small boulders are quite short and on a slope, therefore, we did not boulder here. |
Level | 3A – 7A+ |
Access | The parking area is quite far from the boulder area. The walk is around 10-20 minutes, of which a big part is next to a busy road. |
Area | The big boulder is in a bushy area in the forest. The small boulders are on a slight slope and surrounded by not-too-dense tall trees. |
Weather | The big boulder is in a slightly open area so it can be sunny. The small boulders are in a quite dense forest so you will mostly encounter shade. |

Approach
Park at the old train station next to the hotel/restaurant. Walk beside the road towards the area, just before the three-way intersection walk into the forest.

Walk up until you are at the T-junction, here you can go two ways; going right leads you to the big boulder, and going left leads you to the small boulders.

Big Boulder
If you go right at the T-junction you very soon end up at a sort of dead end, here you have to go left up the hill.

Now walk slightly left and you arrive at the boulder.

You can go the small boulders from here by going further into the forest or going right and up, but it is more convenient to walk back to the T-junction and go from there.

Small Boulders
If you go right at the T-junction you have to follow the path following the corners.

When arriving at a T-junction take the right path.

Follow this path until you can see the boulders on your left side up the hill (can be tricky to see since they are a bit far up the hill, therefore, make sure to track the GPS coordinates).
